TIER 00
Observer
Requirements
None
Like reading a public notice board — you can see everything posted there, but you can't write on it yourself. You get full access to read all discussions, see all votes, and follow any issue you care about.
Can Do
- Read all public discussions
- See how everyone voted and why
- Follow the complete history of decisions
- Track issues you care about
Cannot Do
- Post comments or start discussions
- Vote on any decision
- Sign petitions
- Report problems or file complaints
TIER 01
Verified Citizen
Requirements
Voter ID + Aadhaar
Like getting a library card — you've shown who you are, so now you can check out books and join the book club. You've proven you're an Indian voter, so you can now participate in national votes and join community discussions.
Can Do
- Everything from Tier 0
- Post in community discussions
- Sign petitions
- Vote on national policy decisions
- Join constituency discussions
Cannot Do
- Nominate candidates for elections
- Vote on internal party decisions
- Serve on decision-making juries
- File formal complaints
TIER 02
Active Member
Requirements
90 days + Quality Score
Like earning a seat on the school council — you've been around for a while, contributed thoughtful ideas, and now you get to help make decisions. You've spent 90 days as a Tier 1 member and shown quality participation.
Can Do
- Everything from Tier 1
- Vote on who gets nominated as candidates
- File formal complaints
- Vote on internal party decisions
- Serve on community juries
Cannot Do
- Run as a candidate yourself
- Manage party operations
- Apply for appointed positions
- Serve on high-stakes juries
TIER 03
Contributor
Requirements
1 year + Real-world impact
Like making partner at a law firm — you've put in the time, done the work, and proven you're serious. You've been an active member for over a year and have real contributions to show — RTIs filed, events organized, or research completed.
Can Do
- Everything from Tier 2
- Put yourself forward as a candidate
- Apply for appointed positions
- Serve on important juries
- Propose changes to party rules
Cannot Do
- Override decisions made by members
- Act alone without community input
TIER 04
Elected / Appointed
Requirements
Community mandate
Like being elected class president — the community has voted to give you responsibility. Every action you take is logged publicly. You serve at the pleasure of the members and can be removed by them.
Can Do
- Everything from Tier 3
- Represent the party publicly
- Manage party operations
- Lead working groups
- Carry out decisions made by members
Cannot Do
- Override decisions made by members
- Act alone without community input
